Power leveling in
World of Warcraft is the quickest way to level up a character by
maximizing quest experience points. Power leveling is a strategy
that may be used to move as far up as level 80. There are many
important things you need to know about power leveling before going
on any quests.
Before going out to
complete a quest, it is best to collect as many quests as possible.
In doing so you will gain more experience points over time, aiding
in leveling up faster, or power leveling. For example: One quest
may tell you to kill 10 monsters and another quest may say to kill
15. By plowing your way through a group of monsters, killing every
possible one, you can fulfill several quests at once. It is a smart
and time efficient way of working out the quests.

Do as many quests
as possible. The more quests you go on, the more chance you will
have of gaining experience points. There are several ways of
obtaining quests: Talk to the NPCs (Non-Player Characters)
and accept the quests they offer you; Multi-Zone by taking your
character to other starting points in your area and doing the quests
they have available; accept quests from other players, or join a
group and go on quests with the other members. If you accept and
complete a quest from an NPC, you gain extra experience points, cash
or other valued items. If there is a quest you want to do, but
would have to go backwards into the game to do it, just skip it. It
is not worth going back in the game to level – keep moving forward.
It only wastes valuable playing time if you go back.
“Grinding a level”
is also an effective way to quickly gain more experience points in
World of Warcraft. Level grinding may help you move up two to three
levels instantly. It is usually best to start grinding levels when
you have hit level 10. An effective way to grind a level is by
going down to the easier green quests and killing as many of the
green colored monsters as possible. If you are able to kill the
yellow monsters quickly with little downtime, go to the yellow
quests and kill as many of the yellow monsters as possible.
Minimizing downtime is the most important strategy for power
leveling.
In terms of
grouping up versus going solo, there are some quests, specifically
the more “elite” quests, which require a group of at least two to
three members to complete. But you can go on quests by yourself.
There are a lot of quests that can easily be completed by one
person. Many quests recommended by the NPCs can be accomplished by a
single player. Other quests that may be completed by a single
player are the green and yellow quests. These colored quests only
require a player to kill the monsters of the same color as the
quest. For example, if you have accepted a green quest, kill as
many green monsters as possible.
Whether you decide
to go solo or join a group, level grinding and accepting every
possible quest are effective ways to power level. Maximizing
experience points while minimizing downtime is how you can become a
World of Warcraft power lever.
