Profession Choice
One of the choices you make for your WoW character early on in the
game is profession. The profession you choose can make it much

start-up costs and faster returns. You can have two professions in
WoW, so choosing one that is an easy gold-maker will help increase
your gold early on in the game. Any of the professions that require

Skinning dead animals or collecting ores from mines and selling them
at the Auction House is an easy way to earn gold. Having a
secondary skill in addition to your two professions is another great
way to earn gold. Fishing, for example, is easy to do and if you
pay attention to the current prices, you can earn a significant
amount of gold in a relatively short amount of time.
At the Auction
House
One of the ways to earn gold is to sell items at the WoW Auction
House. As the name implies, items are put up for auction and bid on
by other players. It is a good idea to have a buy-out price, which
is a price at which a player can take possession of the item without
waiting for the auction to be over. This can be a way to quickly
build up your gold stores and avoid having to wait for auctions to
end. Like any auction, the Auction House gives you the ability to
sell your items for much more than you paid. Buy low, sell high.
When selling found items, you have a profit margin of 100%. One of
the options for selling things at the WoW Auction House is to
stockpile your farmed and found items and then list them all at
once. They will sell over time, creating a steady flow of gold into
your pocket.
Quests and Kills
Taking on quests advances your character and gives you additional
opportunities to add to your wealth. Though many WoW players skip
quests that arise in order to get through the game faster, they are
passing up opportunities to gain gold that they will need in future
levels. There are often kills during a quest; pay attention to what
is dropped by your kills. These items can be picked up and sold
either at the WoW Auction House or directly to other characters.
Humanoid races tend to drop more items that can be collected and
sold than do the other races, so humanoid kills will earn you more
gold faster.
World of Warcraft players need to earn gold for their characters so
that they can advance their characters, get training and buy needed
items such as mounts and weapons. As the levels advance, so does
the need for gold. Using these tips will build gold stores early on
