World of Warcraft Tips
Hints & Tips for World of Warcraft Players
Most new World of
Warcraft players are in the dark about how to play the game more
effectively. Here are some hints and tips for optimizing your
gaming experience.
When you have
arrived in a new town or area, it is a good idea to collect as many
quests as possible and complete them at the same time. In doing so,
you will gain more experience points over time, aiding in leveling
up faster, which is also known as power leveling. For example, one
quest may tell you to kill 10 monsters and another quest may say to
kill 15. By plowing your way through a group of monsters, killing
every possible one, you can fulfill several quests at once. It is a
smart and time-efficient way of working out the quests.

Making in-game
friends as soon as possible will help greatly. Having allies to
back you up on a quest or raid will help you all succeed and level
up faster. Plus, having friends to share knowledge with and chat
with is fun. Just be warned that having in-game friends may cause
you to play World of Warcraft more often, possibly leading to an
addiction to the game. Know your limits. Do not allow your game
playing to negatively affect your job, school, family or social life
outside of the game.
Obtain two
gathering professions at the beginning of your World of Warcraft
journey. This will make it possible for you to sell items, such as
copper and ore. Selling these items will bring in a lot of gold
that will help you throughout your leveling. It is also good to
have enough gold on hand in case you want to learn new spells or
abilities.
Get to know your
class. Understanding the abilities and talents your character
possesses is very important for success in World of Warcraft.
Unfortunately, most World of Warcraft users do not know a whole lot
about their own classes. Take the time to research and fully
understand your class completely. You will want to know all about
it before reaching level 70. This is especially true for player
versus player servers. The player who knows more about their class
and capabilities has a significant advantage over someone who is
clueless about their own character’s class and capabilities.
Be sure to
automatically loot everything that appears as a grey colored item.
Even if you do not think the items will benefit you, grab them up
anyway – you never know when they might come in handy. You could
also take the items you picked up and sell them for gold. To
automatically loot everything, go into your World of Warcraft
settings and check the box that says “Turn on auto-loot”. After
changing your settings, all you will need to do to loot is right

Do some research
and become familiar with World of Warcraft add-ons and macros.
These will end up helping you save a lot of time and pain when doing
repetitive tasks. Once you hit level 70 having knowledge of macros
will be essential for raiding. It is better if you learn how to use
them early on in your World of Warcraft game playing.
Making in-game
friends, having at least two gathering professions, understanding
your class and auto-looting will make your overall World of Warcraft
gaming experience more rewarding.
